the IM ambush

So, I was logged in to Jdate this evening when I got my first IM ambush from a 27 year old living in Skokie.

I was trying to see if I could "cut and paste" to share with you all but I couldn't, so here is the summary:

Guy: hi
Me: hey whats up?
Guy: hey
Guy: are you looking to be in a serious relationship?
Me: well.... I'm ultimately looking for "the one" but not looking to jump into anything...
Guy:  ok so just say no
Me: huh?
Guy: you arent interested.
Me: what?
Guy: so you're interested?
Me: I don't even know you.

We then tried to "start over" when I informed him that this is like an ambush and I feel like I'm being badgered.  It turned in to a check list like conversations of things he was asking...including "so why did you look at my profile?  what makes me stand out from all the others?"  Um, I DIDNT look at your profile until you IMd me cause I wanted to see who the heck was IMing me....we ended our conversation quickly.  Real WINNERS left out there let me tell ya!
